These integrations provide inline T-SQL completions and chat-based code generation grounded to the connected database—so you can use Copilot directly in the tools you already work with.

When using these external clients, Copilot supports Ask mode for read-only query exploration and Agent mode for multistep workflows. Any action that modifies data in Agent mode requires your explicit approval before it's executed.
