Summary

Completed

In this module, you learned about some of the features and tools you can use to help with governance of your Azure environment. You also learned about tools you can use to help keep resources in compliance with internal or regulatory requirements.

When teams use Copilot or agent-assisted workflows, these governance controls still apply. RBAC, Azure Policy, resource locks, and auditing help ensure AI-assisted changes remain within approved boundaries.

Learning objectives

You should now be able to:

  • Describe the purpose of Microsoft Purview.
  • Describe the purpose of Azure Policy.
  • Describe the purpose of resource locks.
  • Describe the purpose of the Service Trust portal.
  • Explain governance guardrails for AI-assisted administrative workflows.
