The Sales agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot (referred to as the Sales agent throughout this article) is an AI-powered chat interface that allows you to interact with your sales data using natural language. You can ask questions and gain insights from your Dynamics 365 Sales data and past customer interactions, all without leaving the chat experience. The Sales agent is available in the Copilot chat experience in Dynamics 365 Sales and across Microsoft 365 apps where Microsoft 365 Copilot is available.

- Preview features aren't meant for production use and may have restricted functionality. These features are available before an official release so that customers can get early access and provide feedback.
You can use the sales agent to get assistance with a variety of sales-related tasks, such as:
- Summarizing your accounts
- Catch up on past customer meetings
- Look up for information about sales records
Prerequisites
Before you can use the Sales agent, your administrator must have completed the following steps:
- Turned on and set up Microsoft 365 Copilot for your sales app
- Set up Sales agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot
Access the Sales agent in Dynamics 365 Sales
- In your sales app, select the Copilot icon on the command bar, and then select the Chat option. The Microsoft 365 Copilot chat experience opens in the side pane.
- Select the Hamburger menu on the top left of the chat pane to view the list of agents and past chats.
- Select Sales from the list of agents to start interacting with it. If you don't see the Sales agent in the list, select All agents and then search for and select Sales.
- Ask the agent questions in natural language to get the following types of insights:
