Customer Retention History (Power BI Report)

The Customer Retention History report provides historical insights into customer retention trends, allowing detailed analysis of customer loyalty metrics. This report compares customer retention volume metrics over time for New, Lost, Returning, and Recovered customers, providing measurable insights into customer engagement. You can use these insights to anticipate customer trends and implement sales strategies, improving customer retention and engaging with new demographics.

Use the report

Sales managers can use this report to analyze customer retention and empower actionable sales strategies to optimize ongoing sales performance.

With the New and Returning Customers analysis, you identify a decrease in new customers in recent months. In response, you decide to launch a new marketing campaign targeting first-time customers to engage with new customers and invigorating future sales performance.

Using the Temporarily Lost vs Lost Customers visual, you identify a comparative increase in lost customers who weren't recovered. To improve customer retention, you invest in extra salesperson training to improve customer engagement strategies and strengthen customer loyalty, ensuring ongoing returning sales.
