Hi! Let me help you with this.

Please click on the Start Menu, then type in Control Panel, open Control Panel, go to Programs and Features, then Uninstall a Program, scroll down to Microsoft Office, right-click it, and then choose Change. On the prompt, choose Online Repair. Please make sure that you are connected to the internet, as it requires an active connection.

Use an Office Online Repair instead of the built‑in “Repair now” prompt, which often does not fix this error.

Perform an Online Repair on Windows:

    1. Close all Office apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
    2. Open Settings from the Start menu.
    3. Go to Apps (or System > Apps > Installed apps, depending on Windows version).
    4. Locate Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 Apps in the list.
    5. Select it and choose Modify.
    6. When prompted, select Online Repair, then choose Repair and let the process complete.
    7. Restart the computer and try opening Word and Excel again.

If the Online Repair does not resolve the problem:

    1. Uninstall Office from Apps & Features / Installed apps.
    2. Restart (do not just shut down) the PC.
    3. Reinstall Office from the Microsoft account where the product is associated.
