I am currently being billed monthly for Microsoft World at $12.99 and Microsoft’s 365 Copilot at $12.99. I want to have Microsolf Office that only includes Word and Excel. Do I need have two charges to have those two features? FYI they have different renew dates.

    Hello William Fromm

What type of Microsoft Office subscription are you currently using? Personal or Enterprise?

Based on what you described, you may be seeing two separate subscriptions with different renewal dates. Microsoft 365 consumer plans include Word and Excel as part of the subscription, along with other Office apps, and Copilot can also be included depending on the plan.

To check which charge you need, please try these steps:

    • Sign in to your Microsoft account and open your Subscriptions page to review the exact subscription names and renewal dates.
    • Look for the subscription that includes Word and Excel. Microsoft 365 plans include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook desktop apps.
    • If you also see a separate Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription and you only want Word and Excel, you can review whether you still need that extra subscription.

If you only need Word and Excel, it may be best to keep the subscription that already includes those apps and review whether the separate Copilot subscription is still needed.

If one subscription already covers what you use, keeping just that one and canceling the other may help avoid overlapping charges.

Feel free reply back to this post if you need further assistance, I'll be happy to help
