   4. When the suggested help articles appear, scroll to the bottom and select Contact support.
   5. Choose the product category (for example, Windows) and follow the prompts until the option to Chat with a support agent or Call me back appears.
2. Use the online “Contact us” entry point
   1. Go to the general Contact support page.
   2. Enter a brief description of the issue.
   3. Skip or scroll past self-help suggestions and select Contact support.
   4. Sign in with a Microsoft account if prompted.
   5. Choose the relevant product and category, then select Chat with a support agent in your web browser or Call me back when offered.
3. From Microsoft 365 / Office pages (if the issue is Office-related)
   • For home subscriptions: use the Microsoft Office Support home page and select one of the support options at the bottom of the page, such as chat or call back.
