How do I reinstall the windows system while retaining the files

Since the previous week when I tried to fix the voice input and restarted the Windows update according to those responses, I've been experiencing this issue. The installation can't be done, and the update can't be paused either. What's more crucial is that my computer was originally purchased because it has low heat generation and good cooling performance, although the performance is a bit poor. Now, after this update, I don't know how it happened, but the temperature when the computer boots up used to reach up to 560 degrees, but now it's only around 75 degrees. I can't accept this. Now I want to go back to the previous version. I tried System Restore, but it didn't work. The situation remains the same. I now want to reinstall the system version that I bought this computer with. However, I have installed many software and changed many personal settings, and I'm very afraid that some of my code-dependent libraries and other things will all need to be re-downloaded. Is there a way to go back to the system version that the manufacturer pre-installed when I bought this computer and still retain all my files and configurations?

The only method available to go back to the original version of Windows installed on your PC would be if the PC manufacturer provided a utility to roll your system back to factory settings, however, that process would wipe all your data on installed software.

The best option to stabilize your system and fix Windows updates is to open the Settings app.

Go to System - Recovery.

Click the 'Reinstall Now' button in the 'Fix problems with Windows Updates' section, then wait for that process to complete.

This process will not affect your files, settings or installed software.

Ive already done what you've said hours ago, and indeed it fixed my problem with the voice to text function, but the temperture problem and edition of the windows is wrong and upgraded, I used to be 26100.2894 but upgraded to like 26100.81something which is not what i want,
Is there a way to like reinstall the exact same system edition 2894, will keeping my files settings everything, and also still the Activated and genuine version to keep the word and excel egc?

26100.2894 is a version of Windows 11 from January 2025, Microsoft do not provide any method to download a version that old, the only way to go back to that version would be to try to find a Windows 11 24H2 ISO somewhere, but to do that, you would need to backup all your files and clean install Windows 11, and all apps would need to be reinstalled.

For the temperature problem, the best option would be to go to the support page for your device on the manufacturers website to download and install a full set of the drivers they recommend.

so you mean I cannot redownload the current version of my windows edtion with out deleteing every file and also not beingable to keep the activated original system and predownloaded official word excel all of that?, if not then please tell me how, or else please tell me how to fixx the system

Microsoft do not directly provide a download for version 24H2, they only provide the latest version for download, so going back to that version may be difficult, did you check if there is an option provided by the PC manufacturer in a utility they may have installed on your PC to factory reset the PC.

With regards to the Office licence, if you log into your Microsoft account on this link, do you find the Office licence linked to your account there.

They did give me the system to download the 24H2.img is what theyve provided,can this beable to recover my system while also be original edition also kreeping my files

That is an image file that you would need to burn to a USB flash drive using something like the free Rufus utility, and it can only be used to wipe your PC and clean install Windows 11

If the only problem you are now experiencing is the temperature problem, then did you go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website to download and manually install (not update) a full set of drivers.

so you mean its becasue the drivers got updated so the temperture raised? I do have a full set of original drivers lying just the same as before updated ones

If you have a full set of original drivers, it would be best to manually reinstall those drivers.
