Hello,

I got a new computer for windows 11. When I used my log in from my old computer it made me create an outlook account since I had only a microsoft exchange account. However none of my emails transferred/synced over once I logged in showing my exchange email domain. What is going on? I need my email working now. Please call [Moderator note: personal info removed] at [Moderator note: personal info removed]. He is helping me with this as he is our IT guy.

    Hi Dan Lindblad
I understand how disruptive it can be to move to a new device and suddenly be unable to access your email, especially when it’s needed for work.

Please note that this is a public peer-to-peer community forum. While moderators and community members can share guidance and experiences, we do not have the ability to make phone calls or directly access your environment.

To better understand your situation, could you please help clarify a few points:

-Are you using the classic Outlook application or the new Outlook on your new computer?

-Have you tried signing in to Outlook on the web using your account? If so, do you see your emails there?

-When you added the account on the new computer, did you select a specific account type (such as Microsoft 365 / Exchange), or did it set up automatically?

Additionally, if possible, could you please share a screenshot of what you are seeing? You can send it via private message to avoid exposing any personal or organizational information.

If you prefer direct assistance over a call, you may want to ask your IT administrator to raise a support ticket with the Microsoft Support team, as they have the appropriate tools to investigate this further.

For further assistance, your IT administrator can refer to the guidance on how to contact Microsoft Support here: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn.

Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

I look forward to your response.
