Hi everyone —

I’m locked out of my Outlook/Microsoft email account and I’m getting nowhere with the recovery process. I no longer have access to the recovery email tied to the account, which is making verification really difficult. I have submitted every day for 2 weeks and it is not recognizing my account even when I insert exact subject lines and emails from the email.

The problem is that this email contains a lot of important personal information, contacts, and records that I urgently need access to. I’ve already tried the recovery form multiple times and provided things like recent contacts, subject lines, and old passwords, but I keep getting denied.

Has anyone been through this and found a way to actually reach support or improve the chances of recovery? Any helpful advice would mean a lot.

Unfortunately, there are no other options to recover the account. The Account Recovery Form requires sufficient information to verify that you are the account owner, and it is an automated process with no human influence. If you don't have the correct information, you will not be able to get through account verification using the Recovery Form.

Please try checking the guidance notes on how to fill out the form through this link:

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Since you do not have access to the verification method (your recovery email address) for a password reset, I'm afraid the only way to recover/unblock the account is through the account recovery web form: https://account.live.com/acsr

Important: If you have an active 2FA, ACSR will inform you that your recovery request will be ignored. If you only receive a message that the recovery request is either successful or indicates insufficient information, this means that 2FA is disabled.

You'll need to keep trying until you're verified by Microsoft, and you can do this up to 2 times every 24 hours.

If your Microsoft account recovery request was not granted, please review this link for tips on improving your chances of a successful recovery: https://support.microsoft.com/office/dc56c3e3-dff0-4ed5-8edb-60290eea6b53

Please be advised that Microsoft Support will not be able to grant you access to your account.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Darhyl
