I'm using Access 365 with Windows 11.

I have a form where the Record Selection Bar is half hidden.

    Dear @PerryJ,

Good day, and I appreciate the clear explanation of your issue. From my research, this is a common display issue in Microsoft Access 365, particularly on Windows 11 systems using high‑DPI monitors or custom display settings. The Record Navigation Bar (also known as the record selection or navigation buttons bar) appearing cut off or only partially visible at the bottom of a form is almost always caused by Windows text scaling, rather than standard display scaling. Please try the steps below to see if this resolves the issue.

    1.Adjust Windows Text Size

    • Right-click on your desktop > Display settings
    • Or go to Settings > System > Display
    • Scroll down to Scale & layout section
    • Select Scale > Text size > Move the slider all the way back to the left (100%)
    • Click Apply
    • Close and completely restart Access (very important: changes only take effect after restart).
    • Open your form again and check if the Record Selection Bar now displays fully.

If you need larger text, instead of using Text size, use the main display scaling option:

    • In Display settings, under Scale & layout, change Scale to 125% or 150% (this scales everything proportionally, including the navigation bar).
    • Then restart Access.

    2.Reset Access Options

    1. In Access, go to File > Options > Current Database.
    2. Uncheck Display Navigation Pane, click OK, and close Access.
    3. Reopen Access, return to the same setting, re‑check Display Navigation Pane, and restart Access again.

    3.Repair Office:

Go to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps > find Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Office > Modify > choose Quick Repair (or Online Repair if needed).

    4.Test on Another Display:

If you are using multiple monitors, try moving the Access window to a different screen. Some DPI configurations can affect how Access renders interface elements.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this. Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments so I can continue to support you. I'm looking forward to your reply.
