    Hello @dana zaydan

Managing multiple accounts for different universities or organizations can be quite a challenge, especially if you find yourself constantly signing in and out. I'd love to help you find a smoother way to handle this.

While I wait for your confirmation, here are three simple ways to keep all your accounts active at the same time:

1/ Use the Built-in Account Switcher (Desktop App)

This is the most seamless method if you use the installed Teams application. Microsoft allows you to stay signed into multiple accounts at once.

    • Sign in to your primary account (e.g., University A).
    • Click your profile picture in the top-right corner.
    • Select "Add another account."
    • Enter the credentials for your second university or organization.

-> The Result: You can switch between accounts instantly from the profile menu, no logging out required.

2/ Use Browser Profiles (Web Version)

If your organizations have strict security rules or if you prefer the web interface, using Browser Profiles is the most reliable method.

    • Create a specific Profile for University 1 and another for University 2.
    • Each profile acts as a completely separate browser instance.

-> The Benefit: Each profile saves its own login session and passwords. You can have two different browser windows open side-by-side, each logged into a different Teams account, and they will never interfere with each other.

    3/ Mobile App

The mobile versions of Microsoft and Google apps are designed specifically for multi-tenant users.

    • Open the Teams, Outlook, or Gmail app.
    • Go to the menu/profile icon and select "Add Account."

-> The Benefit: Once added, you will receive notifications from all accounts simultaneously, and you can switch views with a single tap.

If you still need my assistance, please come back with screenshots or any additional details so I can review it again and see if there’s anything more I can help you with.

    Have a nice day!

Yes. In Microsoft Teams on desktop, multiple work, school, and personal accounts can stay signed in so switching does not require logging out each time.

To add and switch between accounts in Teams:

    1. In the Teams desktop app, select the profile picture in the top-right corner.
    2. Select Add another account.
      • Choose an account previously used, or
      • Select Create or use another account and sign in with the other university or organization account.
    3. After accounts are added, select the profile picture again and choose the account to switch to. Teams will switch context without signing out of the others.

To manage notifications across accounts and organizations:

    1. Go to Settings and more > Settings > Accounts and orgs.
    2. Turn on or off the toggle next to each organization to control which ones can send notifications.

In the Activity tab, only missed activity from one active account is shown at a time. To see activity from other accounts and orgs, select Activity in your other accounts and orgs and open the relevant notification.
