    Hello Roman Klimowicz,

Since cache clearing didn't help, let's try a few more targeted steps.

    1. Restart the Widgets process

Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), find Widgets in the list, right-click it, and select End task. Windows will restart it automatically — then try opening an article again.

    2. Check and repair Edge WebView2

When you click an article from the taskbar feed, it actually opens through a component called Microsoft Edge WebView2, not Edge itself. If WebView2 is broken or outdated, articles won't open even if Edge works fine. To check:

    3. Update and repair Microsoft Edge

Go to Edge > Settings > About Microsoft Edge and let it apply any pending updates. If the issue persists, repair Edge via Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Microsoft Edge > Modify > Repair.

If none of the above helps, try opening one of the article links directly in Edge or another browser to see if the content itself loads — this helps narrow down whether it's a widget/WebView2 issue or something on MSN's end.

Follow these steps in order, since clearing cache did not help and the issue is on Windows 11 with Microsoft Edge/MSN content:

    1. Check if Microsoft Edge itself is working
      • Open Edge directly (Start → type "Microsoft Edge" → Enter).
      • Try browsing to a few different websites.
      • If Edge crashes, won’t open, or pages fail to load, follow the Edge troubleshooting steps below; if other sites work but MSN news articles do not, skip to step 4.
    2. Close other tabs, extensions, and apps
If Edge is open but unstable when opening news articles:
      • Close all Edge tabs except the one with the news feed.
      • Close other running apps/programs.
      • Pause any active downloads.
      • Remove unneeded extensions from Edge, then retry opening an article.
    3. Update Microsoft Edge and repair it
      • In Edge, select Settings and more (⋯)SettingsAbout Microsoft Edge and let it check/apply updates.
      • If problems continue, repair Edge:
        1. Close Edge for all users.
        2. Go to StartSettingsAppsInstalled apps.
        3. Select Microsoft EdgeModify.
        4. Approve the UAC prompt, ensure the device is online, then select Repair.
Browser data and settings should not be affected by repair.
    4. Verify security software and malware status
      • Make sure any third‑party security software (for example, Norton, McAfee) is up to date from within the app or vendor site.
      • Run a malware scan using Windows Security (or the security product in use) to rule out blocking or interference that might prevent MSN articles from opening.
    5. Test network and MSN site behavior
      • Try opening the same MSN article links in another browser.
      • If they also fail there, restart the modem/router and test again.
      • If the issue persists only for specific articles, it may be a problem with the MSN site; in that case, use the feedback button on the MSN page to report it.

If, after these steps, Edge works for other sites but no MSN news article opens from the taskbar feed, use the MSN page’s feedback option to report the behavior, as the feed/content itself may be at fault rather than the browser.
