Other issues or features related to Microsoft Edge on Windows 11
Hello Roman Klimowicz,
Since cache clearing didn't help, let's try a few more targeted steps.
1. Restart the Widgets process
Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), find Widgets in the list, right-click it, and select End task. Windows will restart it automatically — then try opening an article again.
2. Check and repair Edge WebView2
When you click an article from the taskbar feed, it actually opens through a component called Microsoft Edge WebView2, not Edge itself. If WebView2 is broken or outdated, articles won't open even if Edge works fine. To check:
3. Update and repair Microsoft Edge
Go to Edge > Settings > About Microsoft Edge and let it apply any pending updates. If the issue persists, repair Edge via Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Microsoft Edge > Modify > Repair.
If none of the above helps, try opening one of the article links directly in Edge or another browser to see if the content itself loads — this helps narrow down whether it's a widget/WebView2 issue or something on MSN's end.

Follow these steps in order, since clearing cache did not help and the issue is on Windows 11 with Microsoft Edge/MSN content:
If, after these steps, Edge works for other sites but no MSN news article opens from the taskbar feed, use the MSN page’s feedback option to report the behavior, as the feed/content itself may be at fault rather than the browser.
