Product Key for Visual Studio 2026 Professional

I found a Microsoft email with the "Product Key", so I solved the problem.

To get a product key for Visual Studio 2026 Professional, a valid Visual Studio subscription that includes Visual Studio Professional is required.

Use one of these supported paths:

1. Get Visual Studio without a key (online activation)
   1. Sign in to the Visual Studio Subscriptions portal at the subscriptions page.
   2. In the Tools section, locate the Visual Studio IDE tile.
   3. Select Download and install Visual Studio 2026 Professional.
   4. After installation, start Visual Studio and sign in with the same account used for the subscription.
   5. The IDE is activated by the subscription; no product key is required for online use.
2. Claim a product key for offline activation
   1. Sign in to the Visual Studio Subscriptions portal.
   2. Go to the Product Keys page: my.visualstudio.com/productkeys.
   3. Search for Visual Studio Professional 2026.
   4. Select the listed key (for example, a Retail or other applicable key type) to claim it.
   5. Use this key in Visual Studio:
      • Open File > Account Settings.
      • Select License with a Product Key.
      • Enter the claimed product key.
3. Claim keys from the Downloads page
   1. Sign in to the Visual Studio Subscriptions portal.
   2. Open the Downloads page: my.visualstudio.com/downloads.
   3. Find Visual Studio Professional 2026.
   4. Select the blue Key icon next to the product to view/claim the product key.
   5. Use the key in Visual Studio as described above.

Notes:

• Only active subscribers can claim and export product keys.
• If the subscription is provided by an organization, the subscription admin controls access to downloads and keys.
• Keys can be exported from the Product Keys page while the subscription is active.
