I can't get Outlook to open

My Outlook won't open to my internet provider email account through Outlook. It worked for 7+ years this way and now with either Classic Outlook or New Outlook it is not opening up consistently. Microsoft Support had it working for a day then it stopped working and won't let me sign into it. I need Microsoft Support to help again to get it to work in Classic Outlook. Support is hard to get with texting through Chat and I can't access them through the phone number provided either. How can I get someone on my phone to help get my Outlook back up and working. I've been without for 3 days.

    If you have a MS 365 Subscription, you may be able to get Call Back support depending on which plan you have. Otherwise it will be Chat Support in a browser. See https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/support

    Not sure I understand. Do you get the same problem with either version of Outlook? Where it just shows a waiting icon and never fully opens? If you have different problems with each version, what is the problem with New Outlook for Windows?

    click on the icon for Outlook, it just circles and doesn't open. I have to then shutdown or restart.

    If you would please, what happens if you open Outlook in Safe Mode?

    Email provider is my local telephone company.

    Who is your local phone company that provides your email service?

    If your email provider has a browser based web interface to your mail, does that work OK?

    To be clear, a real human here :)

    What exactly happens when you try to open Outlook? A screenshot would be awesome.

    Also, tell us the email provider.

    If you need assistance with typing, press Windows key + H to enable voice typing in the editor.

    To attach a screenshot, see below:

     

    • Press Windows key + Shift + S together on the keyboard. The screen will dim with overlay. Drag the pointer to take a screenshot.
    • The screenshot will be copied to the clipboard. Please press Ctrl+V in the editor to paste it, then confirm to attach the image.

     

    Alternatively, you can press the PrtScn key on the keyboard, if it exists, to directly copy the Entire screen, which you can paste using CTRL+V.
