Building, integrating, or customizing apps and workflows within Microsoft Teams using developer tools and APIs
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum
Based on your description, I understand that you successfully created and published a Copilot Studio agent to the Teams channel, but when you select See agent in Teams, Teams shows “Your app package failed the validation” and reports “Manifest parsing error message unavailable.”
In this context, I think you could try the workaround approaches below to see if it can help you:
- Download the Teams app package from Copilot Studio and install it using the supported upload path. Copilot Studio can generate a Teams app package (.zip) for your agent from Availability options (including Download .zip), and using this package to install/upload can bypass the failing “See agent in Teams” deep-link step.
- Verify that your organization allows Power Platform apps/agents to be added to Teams. Copilot Studio publishing prerequisites indicate the tenant must allow Power Platform apps to be added to Teams for users to install or find the agent in Teams experiences.
If the issue started recently and persists across retries, treat it as a potential service-side validation/publishing issue and I highly recommend raising a support ticket via Admin Center to directly reaching out to specific Teams support team of Microsoft
