Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Hi Marisela,
If Microsoft 365 has already activated but the LinkedIn Premium benefit never arrives, there isn’t a self‑service way to resend or trigger the LinkedIn activation.
After checking all email folders (including Spam/Junk and Focused/Other), confirming the correct email address was used for the offer, and allowing some time for delivery, the next step is to contact Microsoft support so they can review the promotion status and coordinate with LinkedIn if needed.
How to contact support:
- Go to the Microsoft Support.
- Type something like "Student Offer LinkedIn Premium" in the search box > Press "Get Help"
- Scroll down and choose "Contact Support"
- In Product and Services, choose "Microsoft 365 and Office" and select "Manage my Subscription" for Category > Press Confirm
- Use the Chat or Call option to reach a support agent.
- Be ready to provide:
- The email address used to redeem the student offer
- The date the offer was redeemed
- Confirmation that Microsoft 365 is already active
- Confirmation that no LinkedIn Premium activation email was received
Support can then verify the entitlement on the account and advise on the next steps for activating LinkedIn Premium.
I know this isn’t ideal, but support should be able to review the promotion and help get the LinkedIn Premium benefit activated.
