    Hi,

Please note that here in the Microsoft Q&A forum, we are fellow users and do not have account access.

Minecraft Realms is a subscription service, and refunds, whether full or partial, are generally not offered. However, if an issue on their end has prevented you from accessing your Realm, please reach out to Minecraft Support. They will do their best to resolve the problem, and if they are unable to fix it, you may qualify for a refund.

The error code itself is not documented in the provided context, but there are two practical paths covered:

    1. Troubleshoot Microsoft Store / Gaming Services Since Realms is purchased through Microsoft’s ecosystem (launcher / web / Store back-end), general Store and gaming stack fixes can help when purchases fail:
      • Reset Microsoft Store:
        1. Press Windows logo key + R.
        2. Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
        3. A blank Command Prompt opens, then closes, and Microsoft Store reopens.
      • Make sure Windows and Microsoft Store are fully updated and that time/location settings are correct.
      • Ensure Gaming Services and the Xbox app are up to date. If needed, reinstall Gaming Services via PowerShell as described:
        1. Run PowerShell as administrator.
        2. Run: get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
        3. In the same window, run: start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN and reinstall Gaming Services.
    2. Request a refund for the Realms purchase If the Realms purchase went through and a refund is preferred, the documented path is to request a refund for a Microsoft Store/Xbox digital game or subscription:
      • Go to the Xbox support page to Request a refund for digital games and sign in.
      • Select the relevant Realms/ Minecraft item and choose Request a refund.
      • Provide the reason and submit.
      • Refund processing can take up to 72 hours; status can be checked on the Refund status tab.

Digital goods (including subscriptions like Realms) are generally non‑refundable unless the offer or applicable law makes them eligible, so eligibility is evaluated as part of that refund request flow.
