How to log into my HOTMAIL account

I have not been able to log into my HOTMAIL account for a while. Can someone please help me.

    To help you quickly, could you please share: 

    • The exact error message you see when trying to sign in at outlook.com. 
    • Whether you still have access to your backup email or phone for verification codes. 
    • Approximately when you last signed in (month/year). 
    • If two-step verification is turned on and whether you have recovery codes. 
    • The device and browser/app you’re using (and if trying another device/browser changes anything).
