D365 BC - AL Table Date Fields - Manually Entered date being translated to Incorrect Date

This is about Business Central AL Table's date field: I am experiencing an issue with a date field on a page. When a date is entered manually (e.g., 12312024), it is automatically converted to an incorrect format (12/31/02024), resulting in an invalid value.

Additionally, I have validation logic on the OnValidate trigger that compares this date with other dates. Due to the incorrect conversion, the validation consistently fails and raises an error. As a result, users are forced to select the date manually from the calendar control instead of entering it directly.
