    Hi Edward,

Thank you for getting back to me and for explaining things further.

You can choose to verify as a business if you have documentation registered with your local government or registration authority within any of the following categories:

    • Company, corporation, partnerships, or non-profit organizations
    • Government entities or public institutions
    • Registered affiliates who own their business and websites

You can choose to verify as an individual if you meet any of the following criteria:

    • Independent contractors, sole traders, freelancers, or hobbyists
    • Unregistered companies/corporations or self-employed affiliates

For exact details and steps, kindly refer to the help pages provided. Since you've exhausted all 3 of your AIV attempts, I will most likely be able to raise an escalation for your case. Kindly provide the requested details by responding to my private message. I will be more than happy to send over your details and documents to the relevant team for a thorough investigation.

    Kind regards,

which is easier or quicker? as individual (one issue was my domain purchase just had my name but i tried to setup Microsoft advertising with business name and it wouldn't let me change it after, happy to run as individual as. but just don't want to waste time trying again if its not going to work ( i have tried signing with both Business and as individual)

For a suspended Microsoft Advertising account with the message:

You have exhausted all AIV retries. Please contact support to apply again for verification.

the only available path forward is to work directly with Microsoft Advertising support or the account team. Self-service options are not documented for clearing an exhausted verification (AIV) state.

    Actions to take:

    1. Contact Microsoft Advertising Support
      • Go to Microsoft Advertising Customer Support.
      • Open a support request explaining that AIV retries are exhausted and the account is suspended.
      • Provide any requested identity or business verification documents so support can review and advise on whether the account can be re-verified or reinstated.
    2. If there is an Account Representative or User Manager
      • If the account is part of a larger “seat” (agency, company), contact the User Manager or Microsoft Advertising Account Representative and ask them to escalate the suspension and AIV issue with support on your behalf.
    3. If sign-in or identity issues also appear
      • If there are problems signing in with Microsoft Identity Platform (for example, admin consent or mismatched email), follow the guidance in the Microsoft Monetize identity troubleshooting article and work with the organization’s IT if needed.

If support confirms that no further verification attempts are possible or that the account cannot be reinstated, there is no documented technical workaround; only support can make that determination and take action on the account.
