pop ups ;unwanted pop ups on my samsung phone how do I fix for free

Hello, I’m Virginia a fellow Windows user.

If the popups come from Edge then you can install an adblocker like AdGuard or Ghostery for free.

If ads are showing in Microsoft apps then it isn’t possible to block in-app ads for free.

To stop unwanted pop-ups in Microsoft Edge on a Samsung (Android) phone without paying, adjust Edge’s built‑in pop-up settings.

1. Open Microsoft Edge on the phone.
2. Tap the menu button (three dots …).
3. Tap Settings.
4. Go to Site permissions.
5. Tap Pop-ups and redirects.
6. Toggle Pop-ups and redirects off to block pop-ups.

This uses Edge’s built-in blocker and does not cost anything.

If ads are the main issue, also enable the ad blocker:

1. In Edge, tap the menu … > Settings > Content blockers.
2. Toggle Block ads to on.
3. (Optional) Tap Advanced settings and toggle Allow acceptable ads to off to block more ads.
