MS Edge - URL space too Short

Hi,

Are you referring to the address bar? If so, do you have many pinned extensions or toolbar icons? If yes, they can reduce the space available for the address bar. You can widen it by right clicking those icons and choosing Unpin to hide some or all of them.

If that's not what you're referring to, can you please add more details to the problem?

The width of the address (URL) bar in Microsoft Edge is not configurable beyond what the browser layout allows. Edge does not provide a setting to “make the URL space longer” specifically.

To see more of long URLs while browsing or developing, use tools that show the full URL instead of relying on the address bar width:

1. Open DevTools (F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I) and use the Network tool to view full request URLs. In recent versions, long URLs may be visually truncated in the Issues tool list, but the underlying link still opens the full URL in Network.
2. Use the Issues tool only as a pointer, then inspect the request in Network where the complete URL is visible.

There is no supported way in Edge settings to extend the visible length of the URL field itself.
