Hi @Pudenz Abby,
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Thank you for clearly outlining your goal and for the effort you have already made to explore the options. Based on the details you shared that you want to use your camera in privacy mode so only the presenter can see you during a Microsoft Teams meeting.
I truly understand the need to participate on video while keeping your image hidden from other attendees. At present, Microsoft Teams does not include a setting in standard meetings that routes an attendee camera feed only to the presenter. Moreover, while organizers and presenters can restrict attendee video, spotlight speakers, and control what attendees see in webinars or town halls, these controls do not provide a private camera view that is visible to the presenter alone.
To achieve the closest outcome with current capabilities, please consider the following approaches:
1/ Configure meeting roles and camera permissions
- First, set Who can present to Only organizers and co organizers or to Specific people so that most participants join as attendees.
- Then, turn off Allow camera for attendees before the meeting so no attendee video is shown by default.
- Next, during the meeting, selectively allow camera for a specific attendee when needed and, if helpful, spotlight the presenter so everyone focuses on the speaker.
This reduces attendee to attendee visibility of video while you retain control.

2/ Use a Webinar or Town hall and manage what attendees see
- First, schedule the session as a Teams Webinar or Town hall.
- Next, enable Manage what attendees see so attendees only view shared content and the people you bring on screen.
- Then, keep attendees off screen and bring only presenters on screen.
- This event format is designed to prevent attendees from viewing each other and gives you producer style control of the attendee view. Teams Premium expands these controls for meetings and webinars.

3/ Arrange private check ins when presenter only visibility is essential
- First, create breakout rooms so each attendee is placed alone.
- Next, the presenter can move between rooms to see each attendee’s camera privately.
- Finally, for very small groups, you may schedule brief follow up meetings for individual video interactions.
This workflow ensures attendees do not see one another while you still meet face to face.
Moreover, If your objective is to avoid seeing your own preview while staying on camera, choose Hide for me during the meeting. Other participants will still see your video, but you will not see your self-view. Now in public preview: Hide your own video in Teams meetings | Microsoft Community Hub
