Edge not working as Android password manager Autofill service

The autofill is not working when the default autofill service in Android is set to Edge.

This is extremely frustrating because it prevents you from using passwords saved in Edge.

Once I change the default autofill service to Google, it works everywhere in each app - the passwords are filled (if saved), and if not, I can invoke Google password manager.

With Edge as the default auto fill service, nothing is autofilled, and I can't invoke nothing.

I tried restarting, I have the latest Edge and latest Android, but nothing helps.

The only workaround now is to completely STOP USING EDGE and use Chrome instead, so you have your passwords available for autofill in the Android apps.
