Hi,

I would like to use present some slides using powerpointlive on Teams with participants attending physically and virtually via. Teams. We would like to use powerpoint live, so that people can present from different locations, and for the attendees present physically, we dont want to show the presenter view, hence we need an additional view displaying the content only. So, in the meeting room, we shall have two displays, one with teams+slides on presenter view and on another one, just the content.

Is this possible? How can we achieve this?

Thanks and best Regards

    Hi @Karthik Vemireddy

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concern regarding presenting using PowerPoint Live in Microsoft Teams meeting. Based on your description, to show only meeting content on the room display while keeping your presenter controls and notes private, use Teams Shared display mode.

    1. Connect your laptop to the room TV or projector.
    2. Connect the room audio device to your laptop.
    3. In the Teams pre join screen, select Room audio and choose the connected room device, then join. This activates Shared display mode and opens the attendee view on the room screen.

    1. Present slides using Share, then PowerPoint Live and choose the deck. You will see presenter notes on your laptop, while the room display and remote attendees see the slides.

Remote presenters can present from other locations by joining the same meeting as presenters. They can take over presenting, and you can also grant slide control for smoother handoffs between presenters.

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Start sharing the presentation from Teams for desktop.
    2. In the presenter toolbar, select Give control and choose the people who should be able to move the slides.

    1. When the next presenter is ready, they can use Slide control to advance through the deck. You can remove it at any time by selecting Take back.

Yes, it is possible to set up a hybrid meeting using Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint Live with dual displays in the meeting room. You can have one display showing the presenter view for remote participants and another display that shows only the content for in-person attendees.

To achieve this, you can use the PowerPoint Live feature in Teams, which allows for synchronized viewing of slides. Ensure that your meeting room is equipped with two displays: one for the presenter view and another for the content view. This setup allows physical attendees to see the presentation without the presenter notes, while remote participants can still view the full presenter view.

Make sure to configure the displays correctly to ensure that the content is displayed as intended during the meeting.
