Can you please turn off my authenticator app.

I understand how frustrating it is to be locked out of your account for several days. Unfortunately, Microsoft cannot turn off, remove, or change the authenticator settings for a Yahoo account.

Even if you previously used Microsoft Authenticator, the control over two‑step verification belongs entirely to Yahoo. Microsoft has no “server‑side switch” to disable an authenticator for third‑party services.

In addition, Microsoft Authenticator is only a local code generator – simply, a tool. It does not manage, override, or recover any security settings. If you don’t have access to the app anymore, no one can get the code(s) for you.

For this issue, Yahoo is the only party that can make any difference. I know this isn’t the answer you were hoping for, but this is the only supported path.

P/S: The “child” field in the question does not mean children - it means choosing sub tag of the sub tag.
