I have followed all the steps for ADE for Apple Macs. The tokens for ABM and Intune are all working correctly. I have set up an enrollment profile and got the Mac to show up under Intune > Devices > MacOS > Enrollment > Enrollment Program Tokens > Devices.

However, after wiping several times, waiting for a few hours, and redoing all the certificates and tokens. I cannot seem to get my device to enroll on Intune and become managed by my org.

In the start up assistant it says it requires a wifi connection because the mac in being managed by an org. However, that is as far as it gets.

    Hello Liu,
Hope you’ve got this sorted already. If not, here are some pointers that could help.

Since the Mac already shows up under the Intune Enrollment Program token, this usually points to an ADE handoff or network reachability issue, rather than a problem with the ABM or Intune tokens themselves.

    A few things to double‑check:

    1. Network access during Setup Assistant – even though Wi‑Fi connects, captive portals, proxies, or firewalls can block Apple activation or Intune endpoints. Testing on an unrestricted network is a good validation step.

    2. Enrollment profile assignment – make sure an ADE enrollment profile is actually assigned to the device (not just created), and allow time for ABM → Intune sync before wiping again.

    3. ABM MDM assignment – confirm the device is assigned to the correct MDM server in Apple Business Manager.

    4. Erase method and macOS version – use Erase Assistant / Erase All Content and Settings on a supported macOS version.

Refer to the below for some troubleshooting guidance:

Troubleshoot device enrollment in Intune - Intune | Microsoft Learn

Automated Device Enrolment and device management - Apple Support (IN)

If none of the above helps and the device still stops at the managed Wi‑Fi screen, collecting enrollment timestamps and opening a support case would be the next step.

Get support in the Microsoft Intune admin center - Microsoft Intune | Microsoft Learn

    Hope this helps!
