Company front line staff only see logo when attempting to access viva Engage

Our organization uses Microsoft Edge across all devices. However, our frontline workers—who do not have email accounts—are unable to access Viva Engage. When they attempt to sign in, they only see the Viva Engage logo and cannot view any threads, even though they appear as members in the system. Is there a specific configuration or access setting required for frontline workers without email accounts to use Viva Engage? Thank you.

    Hello !

Users without an valid company email address cannot use Viva Engage, as outlined here : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/engage/manage-security-and-compliance/security-and-compliance
You need to use an email to authenticate your users.
If you do not use Microsoft 365 for email, you can still use the Microsoft 365 identity to allow access to Viva Engage : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/engage/configure-your-viva-engage-network/enforce-office-365-identity

Please let me know if you have any other question !

Frontline workers without email accounts may face challenges accessing Viva Engage due to the requirement for a Microsoft 365 identity for sign-in. Since they do not have email accounts, they might not be able to authenticate properly. To resolve this issue, consider the following steps:

    1. Ensure Microsoft 365 Identity: Verify that frontline workers have a Microsoft 365 identity set up, even if they do not have email accounts. They still need an identity to access Viva Engage.
    2. Access Configuration: Check if there are specific configurations or access settings that need to be adjusted for users without email accounts. This may involve ensuring that their accounts are properly set up in Microsoft Entra ID.
    3. Testing Access: If possible, test the access with a user account that mirrors the frontline workers' setup to identify any specific issues.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, further investigation into the organization's Microsoft 365 configuration may be necessary to ensure that all users can access Viva Engage appropriately.
