Hi Together.

Dows someone know if it possible to update resp. patch .net framework 4.8.1 Targeting pack 4.8.09037.

Installed all KB related to this vulnerabilities but my antivirus agent still showing this version as vulnerable.

    Thanks for reaching out There is no patch available for .NET Framework 4.8.1 Targeting Pack version 4.8.09037, and this is not a runtime vulnerability.

    • The .NET Framework 4.8.1 Targeting Pack is only a developer component.
    • Microsoft does not release security patches for targeting packs independently.
    • Many security scanners incorrectly flag targeting packs because they check file versions without understanding component roles.
    • Keep the targeting pack installed if development or build tools require it.
