I know the way to switch account, but I really want to know another way.

Thanks.

    Hello @Satan Satan

Thank you for reaching out to the Q&A forum!

For your situation, please take note this point:

    • Currently, Microsoft Teams does not support signing into multiple accounts at the same time within the same desktop app window. Users can switch between accounts but cannot use them concurrently in a single interface.

However, there are several workarounds that allow you to use two Teams accounts simultaneously on a laptop:

    1. Desktop App + Web Browser:

    • You can sign in to one account in the Teams desktop app.
    • Then, open https://teams.microsoft.com in a web browser and sign in with the second account.

This lets you use both accounts simultaneously; one in the app, one in the browser.

    2. Use Progressive Web App (PWA):

    • In Edge, go to Teams Web, then choose “Install this site as an app”.
    • You can install multiple PWAs using different browser profiles.

For reference: Teams Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn

Additionally, you can consider running a second Windows environment to sign in with another Teams account.

I understand these workarounds may not fully meet your original request. However, they can help improve your workflow and reduce the inconvenience of switching accounts.

If you believe Microsoft Teams should support true multi-account usage in a single interface and since this is a design limitation, I highly recommend submitting feedback through the Microsoft 365 Feedback Hub:

    • Go to Help > Feedback > Send Feedback
    • Describe your suggestion in detail.    User's image

This allows the development team to understand the needs of real users. Not only Teams, but all Microsoft apps are continuously improved to better serve users like you. Your feedback may help us revive or introduce features that make a real difference.

Every submission is reviewed, and many product enhancements have come directly from user input. I’ll also submit feedback myself, as it’s clear that many users are experiencing the same issue.

Once again, thank you for raising this idea. Your suggestion perfectly reflects the current needs of modern users, and it could truly help shape Microsoft’s future development priorities.

I truly appreciate your understanding and patience as Microsoft continues to evolve the platform.
