Azure Firewall reports the following problems: Failed to resolve FQDN microsoftmetrics.com. Error lookup microsoftmetrics.com on 127.0.0.53:53: no such host; DNS resolution returned no IPs. It comes from AzureFirewallSubnet subnet. So seems that Azure Firewall tries to connect to microsoftmetrics.com.

Thank you for reaching out. Can you please share more information about your set-up and let us if you are using any custom DNS Setting for your Azure Firewall? Can you also share if you are using any private DNS zones? Thank you!

I have enabled: Azure Firewalls associated with this policy will listen on port 53 and will forward DNS requests to the DNS default DNS Server.
I have also DNS private resolver and Windows 365 VM. No private DNS Zones.

We are also facing the same issue, where on firewall the action reason is showing "Failed to resolve address go.microsoft.com:443: lookup go.microsoft.com on 127.0.0.53:53: server misbehaving" and it is intermittent.

Any publicly available update on this? I contacted Azure Support about a similar issue, and it's been 7 days with no progress from them.
